Visit Of Delegation from Gilgit Baltistant

On Sep 13th, 2018 a delegation of agri business men and farmers from Gilgit Baltistan visited FDP’s office Lahore. This exposure visit was arranged by The Pakistan Agricultural Technology Transfer Activity (PATTA) funded through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Objective of the visit was to get demonstration on efficient farming solutions and to develop market linkage of GB agri stakeholders. Highlights of the visit are as follows;

• Scope of agriculture & livestock farming in GB
• Innovative and efficient farming solutions and inputs
• Demo on High tech machinery and equipments introduced by FDP
• Significance of “Emerson Rye Grass” as the fodder of choice for GB eco-system
• Better practices & KPI’s in feeding & management of dairy animals
